For a school lesson with a difference we can come and fly our birds right in the classroom! All of our birds are happy working indoors, either in a classroom or school hall and, weather permitting, we can go outside.
This is a fun, interactive demonstration with plenty of chances to see the birds up close and flying. The school visit is aimed at educating in an entertaining way and any pertinent questions are answered as fully as possible.
Click on the buttons below for a description of the sessions we offer. These are the standard sessions we run, however if you have another particular session in mind just give us a call.
Educational owl related activities such as pellet dissection can be included to do while we are there, or for the teacher to use as follow-up activities after the visit. We can also create activity sheets based on the topic, which can be left with the children and even supplied as a PDF for printing out for other pupils.
Note: All packages are subject to a small additional mileage charge.
Our sessions are also becoming increasingly popular with care homes, day centres and youth groups. Very relaxed, we work with young and old to brighten their day and give them a chance to handle or meet a bird of prey.
Prices start at £120 for up to an hour for one class (more can be accommodated but please call to discuss).
